About Grange Gateshead CIC - Community SEMH Support Experts

Committed to Restoring Hope and Empowering Futures

Our Story and Mission

Grange Gateshead CIC was established in response to the growing social, emotional, and educational challenges faced by many children and young people today. We recognise that emotional wellbeing, positive relationships, engagement in education, and access to the right support are essential foundations for long-term success and positive participation in community life.

Our mission is to provide structured, emotionally informed, and strengths-based support for children and young people experiencing Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) difficulties, educational disengagement, behavioural challenges, attendance barriers, and other factors that may affect their wellbeing and development.

Through our RESTORE Framework™—Regulation, Engagement, Structure, Targeted Wellbeing Support, Ownership, Reintegration and Evaluation—we work alongside children, young people, families, schools, and community partners to build confidence, strengthen resilience, improve engagement, and create positive pathways forward.

At Grange Gateshead CIC, we believe every child and young person deserves the opportunity to be supported, understood, and empowered to reach their full potential.

**Support • Rebuild • Reintegrate • Succeed**
